Japanese Christian Reformation School Sendai Canaan Church is a Bible-centered, Spirit-filled Christian community located in Sendai, Japan. Rooted in the truths of the Reformation and empowered by the Holy Spirit, our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ and equipping believers for lives of faith, service, and spiritual maturity.
We are committed to restoring the power and purity of the early church through passionate worship, faithful teaching of the Word, and a life devoted to holiness and prayer. Our church embraces both the historic doctrines of the Protestant Reformation and the present-day work of the Holy Spirit, creating a vibrant and balanced spiritual environment.
As part of our ministry, the Japanese Christian Reformation School provides biblical education and spiritual formation to nurture the next generation of Christian leaders and faithful disciples. Through regular worship services, Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and outreach, we seek to impact both individuals and the wider community with the transformative love and truth of Christ.

Whatever brought you here, we’re honestly glad. We’re a small but growing community in Sendai, trying to follow Jesus the best we can, with all our questions, imperfections, and burnt toast mornings included.
